The staff (honorary mention to the nurses and receptionist) as a whole are... extremely kind - I had a panic attack whilst there and they were unbelievably patient with me. I had to get quite a bit of work done with them and everything done was impeccable. My go to dental practice!read more

I highly recommend Smile Dental Drogheda! Recently I took my four... children, and I was very impressed with Dr. Gerald and all the dental nurses Ciara and Sandra who attended him over the few visits. The children all had a really positive experience, everyone in the practice were friendly and helpful from the receptionist to the dentist. Dr Gerald was excellent from start to finish. He put each of my children at ease and took the time to explain every procedure he was doing. One of my daughters was very anxious about the appointment but Dr. Gerald was very patient and caring and very capable of putting her at her ease. There is no other dentist I would recommend!read more

Quick update.... couldn't get any emergency appoitment. Also I got told My... tooth will take long time and will cost a lot + afterwards crown. Got told I have to cut off sugar or everything with sugar which is alright due my condition with teeth, I were allowed drink water and milk and no sugar so after 1.5 weeks i ended up in hospital because I cut off my sugar and was very very bad. I ended up going to Dublin, get my tooth fixed. As far as I understood from Dublin that lil bit more and my tooth would break. It was in bad condition but he still put me on next app after 2.5 weeks even tho I went there for purpose to fix it....Anyway with all my trip to Dublin and fix I spent less, got nicely fixed and I felt in such a peace.Also on my question how long guy is dentist noone gav me an answer. Anyway after visit i ended up in hospital, and bit longer my tooth would be broken...ehThe reception ladies are nice that is the only pluss.....read more

Went to the dentist today for scale and polish. Really really good... experience! Didn’t catch the dentist name but his assistant was named Brenda. Very lovely people and keeps you calm and reassures you with what they’re doing. Didn’t feel a thing which Is what I was hoping for! Really pleasant experience😁definitely recommend✨Nicest and best dentist to go to 😁read more

So far was alright. Was there today morning, and I find the staff very... helpful. Doctor knows what is where and does check up quickly. I mean I have very big fear of dentists and I have watched like huge amount of videos and stuff and believe me it doesn't help. Chloe the reception desk girl is sweetest one I know. She got all my charts quickly and got me sorted quickly. I was bit mean to her yesterday but yeah she is nice. My doctor was straight and rough and exactly what I shouldn't do. bit harsh tho but straight or i loose it all or i listen to him....Also I got a sticker because I was a good patient in my 26 ~:D<3thats kute and overall people are nice for now as much as I saw and they do answer you through email and calls which is plus.I am not going to change dentist now because I kinda like it :)if you have fear they will calm you and be supportive :)Klintaread more

I had a really great experience yesterday at Smiles Clinic Drogheda . Had... 4 fillings and dental clean all in the one session. Dr Kumar and dental nurse ( ?Fiadh not sure I have correct name) made experience as efficient and painless as possible. Dr Kumar very friendly and informative explaining everything he was doing and put me at ease. Receptionist staff very helpful and friendly also. I have been attending Smiles for many years and always had good experience. I would highly recommend Smiles particularly if you are someone who dreads a visit to the dentist. High standard if dental practice with a friendly team.read more

Had a scary encounter here a couple of months ago (would give negative... starts if possible)!! I was lied to and nearly charged €200 to have two of my teeth pulled when they were perfectly healthy!! Went in with 2 small balck marks on my teeth and ended up being put with this relatively young indian/middle eastern man (unfortunately I forget his name). He said that I have cavities and that he needed to pull my 2 teeth and was going to charge me €180. He also gave my teeth a clean with a drill and ended up chipping off some of my lower bottom teeth as they were extremely sharp and painful after he was done. Anyway I went home and explained that my teeth were painful and it turns out that a friend of a friend is suing the man for malpractice, so I booked an appointment with another dentist and it turns out my teeth were perfectly healthy, I just had some mild staining.read more

I went in last minute as I was in pain with my tooth I have been with dr... kumar previously and unfortunately the day I went in he wasn’t on shift, all I can say is what a team, I had my exam with Dr Jalal and nurse ciara, all I can say is I cannot fault either Dr kumar or Dr Jalal, they put me at ease they understood I was a nervous patient and were very relaxed and made me comfortable, thank you guys I will be back and I can’t thankfully say I no longer worry about my trip to the dentistread more

What can I say, no matter the issue, i will always go to smiles in... Drogheda, dr Kumar is a truly amazing dentist, he makes sure you are calm and that you understand everything that is going on throughout your procedure and always checks in to make sure you are okay.He is so kind and pleasant every time I am in with him and so well experienced, his bed side manner as you would call it is second to none, I cannot fault my experience with dr Kumar. thank you so much for helping me when i was in pain, both you and ciara are an absolutely amazing team and always make sure your patients have a good experience and at ease from the onset and throughout.read more

I had a tooth that needed to come out for a long time. I had been to a... different dentist who told me I needed to find an oral surgeon. I'm quite busy and honestly I barely understood what that meant or where to look. I decided to go to Smiles as the tooth was giving me more issues and I didnt know what to do. In Smiles the amazing dentist Jalal. He is one of the nicest, most competent people I've ever met. Jalal recognised I was a bit nervous about the dentist straight away.too. He took the tooth out and me me feel incredibly comfortable throughout. I couldn't recommend him and the team in Smiles enough.read more

Terrible!Attempted to get an appointment with this place for more than a... week, phone never answered but left numerous voice messages requesting a callback, all without any response.Finally heard a voice message on their answering machine saying they had a technical issue with their system, i left one last voice message and finally got a call back and an appointment date .. but for a month later. Really!!So waited a month (even though originally called with tooth ache) however on the morning of the appointment date received a call from secretary informing me that my appointment had been cancelled because dentist called in sick.Really bad service … found another practice.read more
