Smiles Dental Blanchardstown opened in 2011 and has grown its team to 15 members which includes eight experienced dentists. We provide a full general dental service including emergency and cosmetic dentistry, dental crowns, veneers and dental implants. We also cover periodontal gum treatments and extractions of impacted wisdom teeth at Blanchardstown. We have extended opening hours during the week, as well as being open on Saturdays from 10am-6pm, Sundays from 10am-4pm and all bank holidays. Call our friendly reception team who will be delighted to get you booked in, at a time that suits you.

This is one of the best dentists. I’ve been to many leaving and terrified to go back but I’ve returned to Smiles. All their dentists are amazing, they do go above and beyond, they keep their skills updated to provide an amazing service. They are calm and do not judge, they won’t poke and prod unnecessarily.
They will make you trust dentists again; it’s like they want you to love your teeth and to smile with confidence.
Great with kids too. Also, if you tell them, you are in pain, they actually look for the cause even if not clear which is essential when dealing with kids who can only explain they have pain in mouth near tooth.

I had a root canal at Smile Dental Cork. Rob was my dentist and was an absolute professional. He took plenty of time before the procedure to explain exactly what he’d be doing, what I should expect and gave me time to ask questions.

He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable the whole time. The treatment went perfectly and my pain was instantly relieved. I had virtually no pain from the treatment after and was eating normally that night. My first consultation was also excellent. The dentist was thorough and gave me all my options.

I just wanted to say thanks very much to Geenan. My daughter Aisling was with her this morning for the first time and my husband said Geenan made the visit to the dentist so easy and she was very kind to Aisling. She was very nervous prior to this about going back to the dentist so we are both very relieved now. We will be sure to recommend her to any friends or family who are looking for a dentist. Dr Nausheen graduated from Fatima Jinnah Dental College in Pakistan in 2003 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She spent three years in Pakistan in general practice before moving to Ireland. Dr Nausheen joined Smiles Dental in 2012. She enjoys performing general dentistry with a particular intrest in aesthetic dentistry. Training and qualifications

Dr Arkan Al-Qudsi graduated with a BDS degree from the University of Tuebingen, Germany, in 2007. After seven years of general practice in Germany, he developed a strong focus on periodontology, dental implants and surgical dentistry.

Dr Arkan completed the two-year Curriculum in Oral Implantology with the German Society of Implantology (DGI) and was awarded his diploma. He is also a certified laser safety officer, qualified in the use of dental lasers for root canal therapy, gum treatments and surgical procedures.

In 2025, after three years of postgraduate training, Dr Al-Qudsi achieved his Master of Science (MSc) in Periodontology with distinction. This advanced qualification underpins his evidence-based approach to periodontal and implant care.

Dr Meena Durai graduated from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University in Chennai, India in 2001.
Meena holds a MFD (Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry) and Diploma of Primary Care Dentistry (Dip PCD RCSI) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She completed her postgraduate diploma in clear aligner therapy from the City of London Dental School in 2001 and has also completed a postgraduate diploma in orthodontics from the Academic and Clinical Excellence in Orthodontics (ACE) in London.

Meena worked in her native India until 2005 before moving to Ireland, where she has practiced dentistry since 2008. As well as working with Smiles Dental, Meena also works as a part-time clinical supervisor in the restorative division at Dublin Dental University Hospital, teaching fifth-year students since 2021.

Meena enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including crowns, bridges, root canal treatments, composite bonding and cosmetic dentistry.

She has a special interest in orthodontics and has completed a postgraduate diploma in Fixed Orthodontics and Clear Aligner Therapy.

She is continuously attending various postgraduate dental training courses to keep her knowledge up-to-date with all the new techniques and advancements in dentistry.

She is a qualified provider of Six-Month Smiles, CFast braces, Invisalign clear aligners, fixed craces and ceramic braces. She has passion for all things orthodontics and loves improving smiles for children and adults.
