Dr Eavan Lawlor
Dr Eavan Lawlor graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2001. Eavan started work in the HSE in Tallaght for a year and spent six years working in Loughlinstown. Eavan joined Smiles Dental Wexford in 2008 before joining Smiles Dental Bray in 2009 where she has been to date. Eavan has years of experience treating children but she also enjoys restorative, cosmetic and surgical dentistry. Eavan loves creating a perfect smile for people and finds it very rewarding.
Dr Izabela Piotrowska
Dr Izabela Piotrowska graduated from Pomeranian Medical University Poland, in 2008. Izabela joined the Smiles Dental Team in July 2010. Izabela’s favourite treatment is root canal procedures and is constantly working on improving her skills in this area. In the future, Izabela hopes to specialise in endodontics.
Dr Anne Wall
Dr Anne Wall graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2007 and completed the postgraduate Dental Boards Vocational Training in 2008 in County Cavan. Anne worked for some time in a private practice in her native county of Dublin, before leaving to travel to Australia where she spent a year working in private and public dentistry. In 2010, Anne joined the Smiles Dental team and her favourite part of being a dentist is producing the best results possible for all of her patients.
Dr Adam Charalampidis
Dr Adam Charalampidis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1974. He received his Dental Diploma from the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2002. During his military service he served as a dentist in 412 General Military Hospital of Xanthi, Greece. From September 2003 until August 2004 he worked in the private practice of Dr Stelios Karamanis in Thessaloniki, Greece. In September 2004, he was enrolled in the post-graduate program of the Department of Orthodontics of the School of Dentistry of Marmara University of Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated with honours in October 2007, receiving his Master’s Degree and his Certificate in Orthodontics. By ruling of D.O.A.T.A.P. in September 2008, his Master’s Degree in Orthodontics was certified in Greece, while in November 2008 he received the title of the Dental Specialty of Orthodontics. In September 2009 he opened his own private practice in Thessaloniki, Greece.
In June 2008, in the 84th of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS) in Lisbon, Portugal, he presented his scientific project entitled “3D CT Evaluation of Nasal Volume Changes Induced by Rapid Maxillary Expansion”. His scientific articles have been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, in which he is a member of the editorial review board. Adam joined Smiles Dental in December 2011 and since then he is striving to give a beautiful smile to all of his patients; that smile precisely, which at the end of every treatment comprises the success and ethical reward of every orthodontist.
Dr Greg Cullen
Dr Greg Cullen B.D.S Graduated in 2005 from Queens University Belfast.
Greg did a vocational training year in Edinburgh, then worked for three years in Derry in General Practice before spending a year in Australia bringing dentistry to the rural communities of Northern Queensland.
Greg spent the next five years working in the NHS and private practice in Manchester. Here he honed his skills in Prosthodontics achieving a Certificate in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry from the University of Central Lancashire before moving back to Ireland and Joining Smiles Dental in 2015.
Greg has a varied interest in many fields of dentistry including short term Orthodontics (6 month smiles), treating anxious patients and he hopes to advance his enthusiasm in dental implants in the coming years.
Dr Mohamed Alhag
Dr Mohamed Alhag received his Bachelor of Dental Science in 1994. Mohamed worked for five years in a general dental practice before commencing a full time Master’s programme in Periodontology and Dental Implants in the Dublin Dental School and Hospital. In October 2004, Mohamed completed his Master’s programme and in 2009 he completed his PhD in the same field, in that same year Mohamed joined the Smiles Dental team.
Mohamed is also a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry and trained in oral and IV sedation for any nervous or anxious patients. Mohamed has worked exclusively in the field of periodontics and dental implants for many years and he also has an additional three years of unique specialist training, which provides him with expertise in healthy teeth and gums. Mohamed’s favourite aspect of his job is helping the prevention of tooth sensitivity, bleeding gums as well as the management of receding gums and providing excellent overall oral hygiene to the patients.
Dr Justina Masiule
Dr Justina Masiule graduated from Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2014. Justina joined the Smiles Dental team early in 2017. Justina enjoys working with children and holds a keen interest in this area of dentistry. She also enjoys endodontic and restorative dentistry – there is nothing better than happy and smiling patient. Her warm, gentle, friendly manner has helped our patients feel very at ease with their treatments.
Initially coming from a physiology background, Brendan has developed his managerial experience through working for various high profile private healthcare companies in Australia and in London over the past five years. His passion lays in leading high performance teams to deliver top quality patient centered care. Having initially focused on the provision of GP led services, Brendan’s interest in the dental sector inspired him to join the Smiles Dental team in August 2017. “The team here in Bray are a fantastic bunch, you really get the sense that they genuinely care about their patients. The friendly light hearted team atmosphere creates a culture that puts patients at ease and echoes that of the community – aside from all of that, these clinicians are some of the best I have ever worked with and I am proud to be associated with them!”
