Training and qualifications

Dr Carla Navarro qualified from University of Valencia, Spain, in 2011. She then dedicated one year to being a volunteer dentist in an NGO and has worked in well-known practices in Spain and Ireland. She has an enthusiastic approach to dental care and likes to be up-to-date with the latest developments in dentistry. She has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry, minimally invasive procedures and adhesive techniques. She has attended many multidisciplinary courses and workshops during the years.

Dr Navarro has achieved a great capacity for listening and communication when it comes to advising patients on their oral health and preventive measures. In a relaxed environment her goal is to provide the highest levels of quality and service in the areas of dental care. In her free time, Dr Navarro loves to Flamenco dance and travel.

Training and qualifications

Dr Dimche Jordanov has been with the Smiles Dental team since 2014 and is originally from Veles in  Macedonia. He graduated from the University of Medicine Plovdiv (Bulgaria) in 2010 with a Masters of Dental Medicine qualification. Since this, Dr Jordanov has also completed the following post graduate courses:

– All on 4 immediately loading at Eastman University in the UK
– Perio + PerioImplantitis and GBR graft and soft tissue at the University of Bern in Switzerland
– Advance courses on soft tissue and bone at the University of Vienna

Treatments offered

Dr Dimche is currently focusing on general dentistry, implants, digital restoration and oral surgery. He prides himself on keeping up to date on the latest technology in dentistry. His areas of expertise include:

• Root canal treatment
• Complex tooth extractions including third molar removal
• Smile in a day treatment using CEREC technology
• Imparts guided surgery (from teeth support, soft tissue and bone support guided surgery)
• All on 4 implants with immediately loading teeth in same the day.

Dr Jordanov is fluent in the following languages: Macedonian, Bulgarian, Bosnian, Serbo-Croatian and English.

Training and qualifications

Dr Ewelina Szkaradek trained at the Medical University of Lublin in Poland, graduating in 1993. Prior to joining the Smiles Dental Grand Canal Square practice in 2017, Dr Szkaradek practiced general dentistry for over 20 years. Dr Szkaradek puts compassion and patient comfort at the centre of her practice, and has a special interest in working with patients who may be nervous coming to see the dentist. Dr Szkaradek also continues her professional development, and enjoys practicing endodontics and restorative dentistry. She is also a qualified Invisalign Go provider, and enjoys helping her patients feel more confident and comfortable showing off their new smiles after treatment.

Training and qualifications

Dr Konstancja graduated from Wroclaw Medical University in Poland in 2017. While studying dentistry, she received the ‘Best Student’ award twice due to her academic achievements. During her studies she completed three international practicums in both Dublin and Budapest.

Before relocating to Ireland and joining Smiles Dental Grand Canal team in 2018, Dr Norman practised general dentistry in Poland.

Dr Konstancja offers a full range of preventative and restorative dental procedures.

She is also a certified provider of Invisalign treatment, Enlighten whitening and mini smile makeovers. She takes a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, constantly training her skills in Ireland and abroad to make sure she brings out the best in her patients’ naturally beautiful smiles.

Dr Norman’s priority is to create a calm and relaxed atmosphere during appointments and make her patients feel comfortable and at ease. She believes in providing quality care to every patient.

In her free time, Dr Konstancja enjoys yoga, piano and travelling.

Training and qualifications

Jamie completed his bachelor’s degree in dentistry at University College Cork in 2016. During his studies, he achieved the title of College Scholar for excellent academic results.

Treatments offered

As a dentist, Jamie delivers patience and understanding to patient difficulties and issues. He likes to explain treatments to patients in clear terms to gain mutual understanding, and feels that any relaxed, easy-going trip to the dentist comes through knowledge. Jamie has completed certification in both Philips Zoom in-office whitening and Enlighten Smiles Evolution Whitening.
