Dr Diarmuid Moloney
Dr Diarmuid Moloney graduated from Cork Dental School in 2007. He worked for three years in Scotland in a mixed NHS/private practice. While in Scotland, he completed a one-year Vocational Training course and his MFDS examinations at Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Diarmuid returned to Ireland in June 2010 and took up his position at Smiles Dental Wexford. Diarmuid especially enjoys endodontics (root canal treatment) and crown treatment.
Dr Morgan O’Sullivan
Dr Morgan O’Sullivan completed an Honours Science Degree in 2001 before embarking on a career in dentistry. He qualified from Manchester University in 2008 and worked for one year in a mixed private/NHS practice in the UK. He returned to Ireland in August 2009 and worked in a private practice in County Carlow before joining the Smiles Dental team in January 2011. Morgan especially likes treating nervous patients to reduce fear and dental phobia.
Dr Adam Charalampidis
Dr Adam Charalampidis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1974. He received his Dental Diploma from the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2002. During his military service he served as a dentist in 412 General Military Hospital of Xanthi, Greece. From September 2003 until August 2004 he worked in the private practice of Dr Stelios Karamanis in Thessaloniki, Greece. In September 2004, he was enrolled in the post-graduate program of the Department of Orthodontics of the School of Dentistry of Marmara University of Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated with honours in October 2007, receiving his Master’s Degree and his Certificate in Orthodontics. By ruling of D.O.A.T.A.P. in September 2008, his Master’s Degree in Orthodontics was certified in Greece, while in November 2008 he received the title of the Dental Specialty of Orthodontics. In September 2009 he opened his own private practice in Thessaloniki, Greece.
In June 2008, in the 84th of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS) in Lisbon, Portugal, he presented his scientific project entitled “3D CT Evaluation of Nasal Volume Changes Induced by Rapid Maxillary Expansion”. His scientific articles have been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, in which he is a member of the editorial review board. Adam joined Smiles Dental in December 2011 and since then he is striving to give a beautiful smile to all of his patients; that smile precisely, which at the end of every treatment comprises the success and ethical reward of every orthodontist.
Dr Dan Gruenfeld
Dr Dan Gruenfeld graduated from the University of Tuebingen in Germany in 2006. Dan spent two and a half years in the south of Germany in a general practice. In 2009 Dan moved to Ireland and started working with the Smiles Dental Team in 2010. Dan is committed to continuing his professional development and has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry, the replacement of missing teeth with dental implants and various surgical procedures. Dan is also member of the “German Society for Dental Implantology” (DGZI) and the “Irish Association of Aesthetic Dentistry”.
