Share Blaithin qualified as a Dental Hygienist in September 1990 in Scotland. Hygienists were officially recognised in 1991 and Blaithin was amongst the first registered Hygienists in Ireland. Upon qualifying, she joined Dr Gerard Meehan and Dr Brian O Connell’s modern and progressive practice at Gate Dental Clinic where she has been treating and supporting our patients for 30 years! Blaithin truly believes it is the wonderful patients she treats that has made her passionate about her job. She is loved by her colleagues here in Gate Dental Clinic and it was no surprise when Blaithin was nominated by her patients for the Kin Dental Hygienist of The Year Award.
